This guy fits right in here. Another smart, old, former great player that the Pats bring in. He has been slowed the last few years with injuries but this might help him feel better. We need middle linebackers badly and this guy will help. Need youth too but need bodies as well.

The inability to go after youth defensively will hurt them again down the stretch, why can't BB ever draft a young stud linebacker?

when you know the other teams plays in advance, you can be a step slow and it won't matter. Seau was washed up years ago and Belichick and his espionage made seau look like he was bathed in the fountain of youth.

OLD MAN OUT? LOL. Teddy Bruschi is bordering on retiring as is Seau (no official statements but you know the thoughts are there). Samual is a big decision because the 2ndary is not real good ASIDE from him. He wants big money and the Pats rarely pay big. Free agents will be very interesting as will the early draft pick we have.

did anyone laugh when they saw all the patriot offensive lineman in at once at the pro bowl game

if i were them i would have crawled under my bed and not come out for a few months.

Free agent Zach Thomas is reportedly in search of a multi-year deal that includes guaranteed money.

The Providence Journal speculates the Patriots' offer may have only been for the minimum plus incentives. Thomas will meet with the Saints Tuesday and the Cowboys on Wednesday. The Jets and Bills also want to interview him.
