I remember when he was first starting out in wrestling years ago and made it up the ranks. Amounted to a lot more than most people thought he would in the business. Had a few phases of being a main-event draw in WCW but couldn't stay on top long. Still put on good matches, interviews, etc. and was better than any mid-carder at any time of his career.

I remember Simmons at FSU when the Seminoles and Bowden were first coming into prominence.

Any idea what he is in rehab for specifically?

Don't think he's on roids, so it may be alcohol. Think he likes to throw down beers, judging by his APA days with Bradshaw

Probably gets all tuned up and then gets into arguments which lead to fights. WWE probably had enough of it.

He was a great noseguard back in the day for the Noles !!!
To small for the NFL though.
He was on the same A.P. All American Defensive team as Mike Singletary (Baylor).
