Lots of good info here on this system. I usually have to do my research at work so Time & resources very limited. What site lists the lines and the rankings on the same page. Thanks in advance for any help

Cannon often corrected me about this but covers does not use the AP poll as Cannon did. Just some food for thought. If you use covers a few of your plays will be different. Probably the same outcome though.

Another important item to remember is Cannon would put out the overnight line on the top 25. For the saturday games he would post the selections @ about 2 a.m central time. Lines change and one pick that happened on last saturday was the Purdue pick. They started out as a favorite over a ranked team which would have it Purdue for 5 units. But early saturday morning Purdue became a dog to Wisconsin to make the selection a 2 unit pick on Purdue. And of course Purdue won the game outright !!! That why I said on the thread on saturday to be careful of your unit selection on this game. Thigs like this happen with this system , just use your best judgement or just ask on the thread before the tipoff !!!

Baylor and Miss. State are not ranked in both polls. #25 Baylor plays on saturday and #24 or #25 State plays on wed. and sunday. Something to watchout for.

Nice winning night on Wednesday !!! Won the three big plays and a nice 5 unit winner on Arkansas !!! Loved the K State upset of Kans-ASS !!! But hated the Houston selection against Memphis !!! I knew that one was going to lose !!! :hung

Lots of plays today on saturday. Those that are playing, dont rely on this thread for the picks !!! Know the system and use both top 25 polls and go through the rotation of games and make your selections !!! That is the correct way to play The Cannon top 25 system. There are four criteria's to make your picks with. 5 unit play, 3 1/2 unit play, 2 1/2 unit play and 2 unit play. Just keep playing the system and it will be second hand in no time !!! #25 Miss State is now a favorite (-1) over #7 Tennessee, which would upgrade the selection from a 2 1/2 unit play to a 3 1/2 unit selection. I will be adding 1 unit to my Mississippi State pick.

Hey Munson check out the guy who replaced Thurman in the Yankees lineup when he was killed. The guys name was Brad Guldon from Chaska, Minnesota. I played high school baseball against him. He had an interesting story on his career or lack of one. Run a google on him and if you want I have alot of info I can share with you on him.

I just saw a replay of that game when Gulden took over, and Howard Cosell was going on about how Gulden had a good future as a hitter. Unfortunately, he was wrong. I would love to know what he thought of having to stay in the dugout that night. They left home plate empty out of respect for the departed Munson during the national anthem. A very sad time for me, it was my 21st birthday.

The system got stomped last night !!! #5 unit loser with Ill. State. They had a nice lead but Drake proved why they are having such a great year in 2008 !!!
#5 unit play tonight on wednesday with Oklahoma (-1 1/2 or -2) over #6 Texas.

I played this system last season and it went South real quick--be careful, not the goldmine you think it is.
