They're going to try, the question is to what degree.

I'm of the school to play all out every week to remain sharp mentally. You don't want to let these players feel that they are allowed to have a vacation.

BGS - disagree

their #1 "obligation" is to their fans, themselves and the team to win the SUPER BOWL

nothing more - nothing less

hard to win the SB w/o Peyton Manning and by that i mean no reason to have him or any other "star" in the game when they could get hurt in a meaningless game

NO obligation to anyone to do anything
