the win over osu was an ass whooping but this is a new year!!! and so far they have not played anybody good but like you say time will tell.

chuck is right though. if you win the championship, you should be rated #1 the following year going into week 1. no reason why it isn't like that.

yeah there is, it is called graduation and or leaving early........that is just plain common sense. i will go as far as saying no rankings until Oct 1.

Because the team that won the NC last year doesn't run out onto the field and play on Saturdays anymore.. It's not like they lost 2 guys.. Plus, polls are worthless until late November.. If UF is #1, they will keep winning and prove it.. Right now, the team with 3rd string 5* players is #1..
