Well, we will try this one more time...he came in today, told me they had a hot horse that should win tomorrow at Ellis....apologized for the bad break in the last race (horse injured) but said they really feel this horse is in the perfect spot/conditions to get a win.....its the last time they will be racing him here at this meet, and they want a win ......as i stated before, he doesnt throw horse tips around lightly, and usually in the past, the results have been very positive when he tells me they have a hot horse...

please, just take it for what its worth, but if nothing else, look it over and see if the horse looks good to ya......this one will be shorter odds, but a winner is a winner...

pioneer relax a bit. The mods here are great. Ive seen many overlays at 8-5 and yes Id consider a $5.40 winner a tip if he runs like a 2-5! .... lets enjoy the race later and see what happens!

I'm very relaxed! dirty is a complete utter idiot, and bucsfan is acting like one in this thread. I'm not saying this horse won't win, or even be an overlay at 8-5. What I am saying is this is NOT a tip from Bucsfan67, it is a tip from the ML oddsmaker. A "tip" by definition has some inside information; the ML is known to all so it can not be considered inside information.

ps. does everyone here drink the kool-aid? (rhetorical)

Yes, it could have been, but it wasn't. We are arguing semantics here; Bucsfan is NOT giving us a "tip" here. He could have said I like this horse; I think this horse will win today; no problem. The ML is not inside information; it is available to all, as is the past performances in the DRF. I don't have the form yet, I will be going to the racebook and get one later today. Anyone can read the form; the ML oddsmaker reads the form and makes his ML odds based on the info in the form. The ML oddsmaker has already told us that this horse is the favorite to win. so Bucsfan is adding no information here.

I will watch this race and see what happens; often people will place a false "tip" out there to get people to bet another horse so as to improve the horse they really expect to win. BE CAREFUL....good luck.
