Wow some of these are strange. Neb draws a 5.5 move against SC, but then Tex is a 3 point move against Neb, bigger than moves in other Tex games. Does this mean Tex is the sharps' early choice this year?

FWIW I think that SC -13 against UCLA is a big bargain. UCLA looks mediocre to me this year, I think that one should go off in the 20s even with it being a rivalry.

GT +4 at home against UGA is a gift as well.. UGA's defense is down and Tech will have a top 10 defense and the best Oline in the ACC.. We are without Reggie Ball which is a huge plus... and we have the best RB in the ACC in Tashard Choice.... Tech wins this game outright.... And I will take the 7.5 against ND as well... you don't give Tenuda a whole spring and summer to prepare for any offense ... pound the under in that game as well.

Word has it that the new UGA will be a bitch.

USC laying big numbers on the road at Nebraska and Notre Dame. I like both home dogs to keep it much closer. But as usual, get used to seeing a lot of this and liking it!

Sonny Siler says they have more than a few pure white English Bulldogs ready to take over and the rumors are False about them having to go out of the bloodline... They will use the youngest one when the time comes...as the UGA's have only lived around 11-12 years...

Something brought up on another forum I post on...

Basically looking at A&M vs Miami and A&M vs Texas, Vegas seemed to rate Miami and Texas pretty similarly (at least at OPEN).

Weird, seeing as Texas is on many people's potential National Championship list and Miami is barely in some people's Top 25's (though both rankings likely due more to their schedules than anything else -- Texas has a cakewalk, Miami has a minefield).


A&M +7.5 @ Miami equates to about A&M +4 on a neutral field.

A&M +1 at home vs Texas equates to about A&M +4.5 on a neutral field.


Maybe Texas is a bit overrated and Miami a bit underrated?

Rivalry games are worth 4-7 points on a dog. In other words plenty of times I have seen a rivalry game where the power ratings and lines in the weeks leading up to a game suggested a team -21 and it ended up -14 or -15 because of the rivalry. Then again at a near pick-em it isn't as big a difference.

If Miami is underrated, then VT must be a monster team seeing that they are 9 over the Canes.
