The yanks draw more than any team in any major sport
4 mil plus at home alone last year
they played to 85% full attendance even counting road games the last 4 years.
fenway needs to be burned down.
when the yanks open the the new stadium the mets will prob want one too.
maybe the sox should move to Gillette stadium.

Pay attention John, the Mets and yanks both open their new stadiums in 2009.

well they all must have had a cookout to go to yesterday!!! lol!!!

The Sox could have a bigger stadium, but why leave the greatest old ballpark in the world for a new place. Fenway only holds about 33k. If it held more the yankees wouldn't have the record. As a matter of fact thhe chant during RED SOX games at the stadium is LET'S GO RED SOX!!

Fenway had more fans in the street than Yanker Stadium had inside on the 4th. :+excited-

NY FANS IN GENERAL THINK THEY KNOW IT ALL, BUT THEY KNOW NOTHING... Unlike the REDSOX FANS and the CUBS fans, if the YANKS and the METS STARTED TO LOSE, BOTH SHEA AND YANKEE STADIUM WOULD BE EMPTY.... REMEMBER in the late 80s , when the YANKS were awful and the stadium was empty.... The fans blamed the TOUGH BRONX area for the stadium being empty... WHAT A JOKE!!!!
