one of the best i remmeber was "Da Butt" by E.U.....awesome early rap/dance song...but i couldnt find the video or a free link to it anywhere...would love to hear that song again.....i remember it was great to dance to..

I looked for it as well Bucs.... I got about 1500 songs on my computer and I just went thru them. I couldn't find the Video for nothing....

yeah, funny its not around....alot less popular songs can be found on youtube, just no one has happened to upload that one i guess...

there is a video on there of some dance troup with it playing in the background, so im not crazy, the song did exist...but no copies of the video....

I'm not sure I actually want to listen to all of this dreck...

But I have a minor complaint...when one uses the term "one hit wonder", that's what it should mean. If a band has two or three hits but then disappears, that knocks them out of "one hit wonder" status.

Bonnie Tyler certainly wasn't a one hit wonder. She hit big with "It's a Heartache" and "Total Eclipse of the Heart", and she was very big over in England, at any rate not a one hit wonder. Ditto for Billy Squier, whom Dirty mentioned.

billy squier had the stroke,lonely is the night,everybody wants you and a few others but unlike these other one hit wonders he isn't broke.a rapper named JAY-Z sampled a billy squier song called the big beat here a couple years ago.squier said he used the royalties to buy a mansion.

speaking of the 80's....these werent 1 hit wonders, but damn, i loved this kind of synthesizer music....one of my fav's was the Thompson Twins......and of course there were 3 members, so go figure....but they had some great hits in the 80's......
