The addicted gambler

We have a gambling riverboat down here in southern Indiana. A friend of mine commenced to telling me a story of a guy that I have associated with a few times. The guy apparently has a gambling problem and I don't know if he was smart enough or dumb enough to ban himself 5 years ago from the riverboat because I am guessing it took his ass to the cleaners and he didn't want it to happen again! 5 years later thinking his time had expired went on the boat hit a $5000 jackpot on a slot machine and tried to collect. When he produced an I.D. the teller came back to him and told him he banned himself 5 years ago from gambling on this boat and he could not collect any winnings!:hung :+textinb3

Last I heard he is getting an attorney involved to see if there is any loop hole.

My thoughts don't dig your own grave and expect somebody else to pull you out of it! There are some people that don't have any business in a casino ,O.T.B ,racetrack, online or in the grand city of Las Vegas!

thought this story was kind of funny and passed it along :LMAO

Moral of the story don't ban yourself from a gambling establishment and try to collect 5 years later!

That would SUCK pretty bad, but I am guessing the 5k is a rain drop in the gutter compared to the past losses.

I am guessing too. If I was only a mouse in that teller's pocket to see the reaction he gave. The casino security video would be priceless!
