Not liking the start to this braves game at all..

Braves get first 2 on in 1st with Jones, Jones, and Franceour due up, no runs......

Then in 2nd, get bases loaded with NO OUTS, and pitcher grounds into double play (with no run scoring) and next batter strikeouts out....

They have already batted 10 men in 2 innings, AND NOT SCORED...

Always scares me to waste those early opportunities....next thing u know, other team gets one good swing and they have lead..

Houston needs to get something going. It would really suck if they win that game 1-0 with us having the runline. Also, brace yourself because the Texas bullpen is working the 9th. They really scare me!!!

I know it is just 1-0 in San Diego now, but the Pads seem very lethargic to me. Hendrickson has brought his A-game tonight and Hensley's finger is bothering him....mentally he has not gotten over that pesky blister. I hope I am wrong....just an early feel.

I am more worried about Oakland. TB has threatened in every inning. Three runs on only 3 hits and somehow managed to score 1 run each inning.

I think we breathed too soon...we are back in a battle again......

6-4 now in 7th.....


At least we did get the cubs in....looked like they were gonna give up the lead in the 8th, but Dempster came in and did a great job.....

yep, that was the 1st game out of 9 that were decided by 2 runs or less that the Cubs have won all year.

So once again, we have breathing room....

Zito has pitched pretty well this year, i think...and he usually starts out slow......he hasnt pitched that bad tonight either....if the Giants had 5 runs on the board, his start would look good to us.....

We still have time to get the 2 runs back....

True, but if we got 5 runs out of our teams in every game we would probably win about 75% of our games.

damn they tried....

warning track running catch, with tying runs on base..

geesh.....5 run lead in 9th, with 2 outs, and your closer on the mound, and its that close...

an easy bullpen save is something of the past i think...:cocktail

runny shit is more like it. Hoffman gives up 4 runs in the 9th and now it's 6-4..are old closers out now? I mean Rivera is having a rough season and now Hoffman has blown two saves in a week.

It is this kind of game that sends 2 teams in different directions....LA on an upswing and SD spiraling downward. This has got to get in Hoffman's head after that walkoff the other night. Hoffman was just removed from Hensley's Christmas card list for sure!!!:hung
