DAYTONA 500 CONTEST!!!

Since the EOG Fantasy NASCAR Season will not start until California on the 25th we are working on a Daytona 500 Contest That any Poster at EOG is welcome to participate in.....

We will have a book sponsor it and we will announce it early next week



Any Ideas for a Format please list them and any interest....

Sounds good, dirty. I can't get into the whole season long NASCAR type stuff but for the one big race I might be in.

How about pick three drivers, add their finish positions, lowest total wins.

1st tiebreaker # of cautions

2nd tiebreaker avg speed of race

Your Idea sounds simple and you have to put some thought into it....


And we can have the Thread on Post Review in the contest section so No one can see what Drivers and Tiebreakers anyone has

Another way is to pick in order the top 5 finishers

so if jimmy johnson wins all those that pick him to win go to driver 2 on their list whoever driver came closet to 2nd wins. If need to go to driver 3,4,5

for tiebreak in case 2 posters had 5 drivers in exact same order name what driver will finish in 20th place..

2nd tiebreaker what driver will finish last

then use caution laps for last tiebreak.

even easier for a mod to grade this one wont have to do all that adding up

I have played this but with 5 drivers which I think made it harder than just using 3
