No we do not have a large bet on Patriots, just a medium size. The only two large bets we've ever had were on Raiders the previous 2 weeks against the Cards and Steelers.

I cant take Colts due to their lack of defense (especially being ranked last on run-defense).

I have a medium-to-large play on Seattle/Oak UNDER 37.5 (-120); however this does not fit in the angle plays. This play is based on the run-defense and the horrible weather that is expected during the game.

If it is worth anything I like NY Giants this week as a medium-large play (but since we have flat betting here, we will count it as 1 unit as a qualifying play).

Also, like St Louis Rams on +3.5 and Moneyline as an upset special.

Since I am the one who developed all of these halftime angles about six years ago, I have some opinion about how they are being used. Note that I first published these angles in Casino Player and at another handicapping site. Dave Tuley also cited them in the Racing Form a few years ago.

It took me three months to develop these angles and they completely changed halftime lines. The angles blistered the books for the first two years that I used them. Then, once they were published the books caught on and we saw diminishing line values. I used to never see anything lower than a 17 unless there was inclement weather. Now, we see 16s and even lower all the time. The other angles are not nearly as strong as before.

My point is -- I would be careful about using these angles in the future. I have written that they have almost no value since they have become so well known.

I do not mind them being posted, but I do wish I were properly credited. As a writer and researcher, that is customary.

I am now working on NBA halftime angles. There is a lot of research and dead ends on this, but you can see there is gold if you dig deep enough.

Hi Nolan - how's the poker world? The Halftime angles have been working well thus far, but you are correct about the 16s especially with bad weather or lower (fullgame) totals.

Nolan - Where do I find your NBA Halftime angles? Will it be in a book?
